Belinda Jones
Embodied Psychologist
Mind, Body and Soul
Our physical experiences profoundly influence our mental and emotional well-being. Embodied psychology explores the connection between mind, body, and soul to bring them into harmony.
Just as our minds are intelligent, our bodies have their own unique form of intelligence. Science has now confirmed what ancient civilisations once understood: our bodies store memories. By combining talking therapies with physical movement, focused mindfulness, and other somatic practices, we can tap into the body's wisdom to uncover the deeper layers of who we are.
As we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, we can develop tools and strategies to reconcile with our past and create more authentic, fulfilling lives. Acknowledging that we can’t control everything that happens to us helps release the pressure to be perfect, allowing us to trust in a greater force beyond ourselves.
An embodied approach helps foster growth and resilience, expanding your capacity to experience true freedom—even on the greyest days.
